Julie Barzman, daughter of director Paolo Barzman and granddaughter of blacklisted screenwriters during the McCarthy era Ben Barzman and Norma Barzman was born in Nimes, France. She appeared in her first film at the age of 6 in Time Is Money. She made an appearance in the french TV show Grand Star before attending Junior high and High School in Saint-Tropez, south of France, where she grew up.
