Mier was born in Taiwan. She moved to Palo Alto California with her mother and sister when she was 12 years old. She's a versatile actress who excels in both dramatic and comedic roles, Mier studied the Sanford Meisner technique after graduating with a degree in Theater. She can most recently be seen in commercials by Pepsi, Pizza Hut, and Intel.
