Steven Krueger was born in the small mid-western town of Appleton, WI. and spent his early childhood in Brookfield, a suburb of Milwaukee. At age 10 he moved with his mother and younger brother to Sarasota, FL.As he entered his freshman year of high school, his mother insisted that he try acting as an elective. He loved it immediately and began to immerse himself in extracurricular activities in the arts, performing in school and local theatrical productions. He graduated high school, went on to attend the University of Virginia, and then found himself in Los Angeles where he began the professional pursuit of his acting career.Steven has worked on a number of television shows and films and is best known for his work as the charming and sensitive newbie vampire Josh on CW's The Originals.
